Role Overview

^{This role is a for a Business Analyst Assurance – ESG in InCorp India. Reporting to the ESG Manager, this role shall support the supporting assurance projects related to ESG, conduct research and prepare management presentation, manage data and write ESG reports. The selected person shall be involved in preparation of templates, collect, analyse and communicate data as it relates to ESG practice. Candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed research and build understand on the clients ESG profile and ESG Assurance Framework. There is significant on-the-job learning required, as ESG is an evolving domain, and newer reporting standards are being published}

Key Responsibilities

• ^{Engage with our ESG Client to understand their data structures, frameworks and internal controls related to ESG data.}
• ^{Develop data collection formats for each ESG KPI.}
• ^{Coordinate with different client teams on data collection, monitoring, and reporting progress on ESG KPIs.}
• ^{Conduct Site Visits to build the understand industry, value chain, the systems and processes and environment and social footprints.}
• ^{Verify data received from various client locations and conduct vouching and verification, sampling, data analysis and other audit procedures to generate relevant insights and form relevant Assurance Conclusion.}
• ^{Preparation of ESG Assurance Documentation and Reports}
• ^{Design information flow and data collection templates for ESG assurance and reporting based on different standards.}
• ^{Maintain a data repository of updated standard templates and client ESG data to facilitate scalable practices.}
• ^{Conduct market and strategic research and prepare descriptive summary statistics on various market trends related to ESG.}
• ^{Conduct in-depth research to understand and stay current on existing and emerging ESG reporting frameworks, including GRI, IFRS, CSRD, and prominent rating systems such as Eco Vadis, MSCI, DJSI etc.}
• ^{Stay updated on the regional compliances related to ESG Reporting and Rating}
• ^{Maintain the project plan for all the ongoing projects}

Qualifications

^{·         The candidate should have 0-2 Years of experience in Audit and Assurance ((Preference for someone with at least 1 year of relevant exp in ESG)}

^{·         Semi- Qualified CA OR Bachelor’s degree in sustainability or a related domain OR an MBA from Tier-1 B School.}

^{·         Working knowledge of Assurance Standards, BRSR, GRI, IR or TCFD reporting framework or strong willingness to learn.}

^{·         Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.}

^{·         Process driven approach, that focuses on capability development and structured scalability of systems.}

^{·         Proficient is using Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint and Excel and adaptable to new technologies including AI tools.}

^{·         Comfortable in working on Microsoft Excel and handle large volume of data.}

^{·         Willingness to travel to client locations across the country.}

^{·         Working knowledge on writing reports and blogs}
