Role Overview
This role is a for a Manager – ESG in InCorp India. Reporting to the ESG Practice Leader, this role shall project manage the ESG Reporting projects, guide the clients to define there ESG strategy, design ESG frameworks and adopt new standard of reporting. Candidate will also analyse and communicate ESG data as it relates to trends in the company, provide recommendations that can help improve ESG Reporting and performance for clients across sectors, countries and ESG reporting frameworks. Candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed research and build understand both current and emerging reporting and rating frameworks including CSRD, IFRS, ISOs etc. The person should have an expert knowledge with current reporting and rating frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned ESG reporting projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget and scope.
- Conduct Site Visits to build the understand industry, value chain, the systems and processes and environment and social footprints.
- Conduct Materiality Assessment and Stakeholder Engagement for the clients.
- Create and conduct trainings to client’s internal stakeholders such as employee, management and board and external stakeholders like suppliers
- Conduct Supplier ESG Assessments
- Conduct 360-degree research on Environmental and social variables of corporate performance (aspects may include waste management, plastics, circular economy, water etc.)
- Conduct business interview with business leads to understand the current ESG practises of Client.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to improve ESG reporting practices and performance for clients.
- Conduct in-depth research to understand and stay current on existing and emerging ESG reporting frameworks, including GRI, IFRS, CSRD, and prominent rating systems such as Eco Vadis, MSCI, DJSI etc.
- Stay updated on the regional compliances related to ESG Reporting and Rating
- Maintain the project plan for all the ongoing projects.
- Conducting market/strategic research and preparation of descriptive summary statistics on various market trends on ESG
Qualifications
· The candidate should have 2-4 Years of overall experience with minimum 1 year of experience in ESG
· Expert knowledge of reporting and rating frameworks
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, and preferably 2+ Years in a client-facing role
· Process driven approach, that focuses on capability development and structured scalability of systems
· Master’s degree in sustainability or a related domain or a professional such as CA/CS/ MBA with relevant work experience
· Working knowledge on writing reports and blogs
